Through experience, I have come to realize that every opportunity presents itself to encourage our growth and expansion. All too often we tune out rather than tune in. To lead a socially and spiritually engaged life, we need to honour and follow our intuition, as well as the multitude of synchronicities and serendipitous events that pervade our lives. They’re there, awaiting us. We just need to allow them in. Part of our journey involves awakening to the relationship between our personality and our spirit. There are no coincidences in life. Whether we live consciously or unconsciously is our choice. Regardless, we are creating our lives through free will. What are you choosing?

There is a deeper, eternal part of us that is always seeking to manifest itself into conscious awareness. We are challenged to remove our masks and to unplug ourselves from our socialized ways of thinking. Expanding into wholeness requires that we live at cause rather than at effect, consciously taking ownership of, and responsibility for, our lives. We must be directed from within rather than from external sources, and in doing so, acknowledge and take ownership of our personal power. We have free will and the right to be sovereign.

For there to be a critical mass of peace and harmony in this world, peace and harmony must be cultivated at the individual level. Our collective purpose is planetary healing and the transformation of consciousness on a mass scale. This has been the message of all of the great avatars throughout time. Enlightenment or Christ Consciousness is available to all. Fear-based thinking and reaction are giving way to hope and conscious action. Anger, blame, and judgement are making way for joy, compassion, and forgiveness.

There is always hope, even when the many do not recognize it. Just as the personal becomes political in our collective pilgrimage towards justice and balance, so too must the personal become planetary. As hearts are being opened and healed, spirit floods more deeply into people's lives resulting in greater harmony. Greater understandings are being illuminated, unveiling "the story behind the story" on the individual and collective levels.

Power and freedom will not be attained through mindless consumption and accumulation of wealth. Nor will they be yours if you remain plugged into the social, cultural, political, economic, and religious beliefs which create and reinforce the sense of disconnectedness—from your eternal self, from others, and from the rest of the planet—which are so problematic.

We can choose to create a world of conviviality and brotherhood where we follow the path to inner freedom through the embodiment of a life of authenticity and integrity. This represents the evolutionary path of surrendering to our soul destiny path and reunion with the Divine. Or we can choose to be lemmings, plugged into the Matrix of conformity and mediocrity and mainstream media, surrendering our sovereignty to others and living like zombies.

The path is yours if only you will take the leap of faith and surrender. To truly experience life you must live and choose consciously and with discernment. Ask yourself honestly – which path are you choosing?
